STORY

Kirito finds himself about to face the Head Elite Swordsman-in-Training, Volo Levantein, in a duel using real swords. As the curious crowd looks on, Kirito Is encouraged by Sortiliena, and the duel begins. While Volo assumes the stance of his secret move, Kirito counters with his four-hit strike, Vertical Square. The two appear to be on equal footing, but then Volo overwhelms Kirito with the pressure of his Levantien ancestors’ “power of imagination.”
